About Fast Forward Phenix City
In case you haven’t heard, Fast Forward Phenix City is conducting a survey. Residents now have the opportunity to voice their opinions on a variety of topics.
According to reports, the goal of the survey is for people who live in the community to offer their input on where they would like to see major areas of growth and development.
A big area of interest is revitalization in addition to new developments, including areas along the downtown riverfront.

Fast Forward Phenix City is a five-part online survey. It is broken out into sections such as the comprehensive plan and development mapping.
The comprehensive plan gives participants the chance to communicate specific thoughts on how they would like the city to grow and where they would like to see improvements.
The development mapping shows a citywide map that lets you drag and drop icons directly on the areas where you would like to see new business developments, for instance.
Other areas open for input include sharing where improvements to roads and traffic, plus bicycle and pedestrian access, would be beneficial. There is also the Downtown and Riverfront Vision Plan. This guide focuses on the redevelopment of downtown Phenix City along the Chattahoochee River.
Last but not least is the visioning survey. This survey asks citizens to think about how they feel about Phenix City today, how is it changing and what their future hopes are for the city.
