Looking for cool ways to stay cool? Beat the 90+ degree heat this summer with a swim at the Phenix City Youth Sports Complex.

Take a swim

Celebrate the end of June with a swim at the Phenix City Youth Sports Complex or kick off July with a bang—no fireworks needed!

You will need proper swim attire, sunscreen and $3 to take a dip in the Youth Sports Complex pool. Plus, bring a towel to relax on the lounge chairs in between splashing around.

Swimmers of all ages will also enjoy the water slide. Younger kids can safely play and swim around in the kiddie area. It includes horseshoe misters, two umbrella-shaped water features and more.

Ready to cool off and burn energy? Take advantage of the three lap lanes. Or, before you take a swim, shoot some hoops on the basketball court or meet a friend at the tennis courts!

Things to know for your visit

Here are a few other things to know before you make a splash at this public pool. First of all, keep your coolers at home. No outside food, drinks or coolers are allowed in the pool area.

Second, wear a swimsuit to swim. That means street clothes are for cover-ups only. Third, babies and non-potty-trained toddlers must wear proper swim diapers.

Fourth, children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

Last but not least, there are no refunds or rain checks.

Location and hours
