The National Civil War Naval Museum in Columbus is one among many great reasons to love living here. Plan a trip this spring or summer! If you hurry, you can also make plans with a special lady in your life to celebrate Mother’s Day at the museum with a taste of living history.
Mother’s Day at the museum
It’s almost time for the popular Ladies Victorian Tea, Mother’s Day edition, at the museum. Next Saturday, May 7th, invite your mom, grandma, aunt or dear friend to tea time from 1 to 3 p.m.!
Not only will you both enjoy authentic period petit fours, scones, pasties and clotted cream with hot tea or refreshing lemonade, you’ll hear all about “What’s Under Your Petticoat?” Find out what Victorian ladies were wearing under those full dresses—and leave with a keepsake tea cup and saucer.
Tickets are $30 each. Click here to purchase tickets before you head to the museum next weekend!
