This year’s theme is one we can all relate to, even though “Comfort & Joy” may look like different things to each of us. In fact, that element of surprise and wonder is what keeps this community tradition a family favorite.
For years, the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in Columbus has invited local individuals and community groups to spice up the lobby with their handmade gingerbread designs during the holidays.
Discover how these inspired “builders” will bring the feelings of Comfort & Joy to life through their own confectionary creations!
In the past, the sugary sweet communities included an old-fashioned schoolhouse, a penguin gym and homes, a vintage church, Spanish mission and a wildlife sanctuary.
Location and Hours
Experience holiday festiveness first-hand and visit the 2021 Gingerbread Village at the RiverCenter located at 900 Broadway in Columbus.
Guests can meander among the gingerbread Thursday, December 2, through Saturday, December 18. The lobby will be open to the public from 3 to 7 p.m.
