New businesses are bustling on Broadway in downtown Columbus. For 1234 Events on Broadway, it’s a familiar spot and concept, but new approach and vision!
New Business on the Block
1234 Events on Broadway is the area’s newly-revamped event and performance center. It is available for private parties, functions, live music performances, entertainment, wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate events and meetings.
Located at 1234 Broadway, it was formerly Pop Uptown, which was a pop-up event center. The same colorful Yoyo Ferro mural painted on the front façade welcomes guests. But from there, the space becomes what the host envisions.
For example, rent the venue with or without furniture. You may work with recommended vendors and the personal catering company, Bodega 1205. Alcohol and bar services can be provided as well. But hosts can also work with outside vendors if preferred. Other than the space—a large common area, a mezzanine and restrooms—the rest is up to the event coordinator.
However, you don’t have to wait to be invited to an event to see the space. Mark your calendar for the first Friday each month for “Art After Dark.” Open to the public, the event features the work of local and visiting artists as well as live music.
